This job involved plastering in what was originally the loft area of a house. The original ceiling had run across the room at the height of the blue paninted wall you can see in the first image. The owner had removed this ceiling in order to expose the magnificent beams that hold the roof tiles in place.
The first image here depicts the 16 sections of ceiling and wall that exist between the beams. The second captures just how uneven the level of the insulated plasterboard was in some areas. Hence why the first job, in the sections that contained more than one piece of insulated plasterboard, involved bonding out to the point where a flat surface was achieved. A flat surface is always necessary to achieve prior to applying multi-finish plaster. The third image here is taken from the same perspective as the second image after the leveling out bonding had been applied.
